VW Audi Car Loading PDF Manual

This publication contains instructions for the proper method of loading and securing of Volkswagen and Audi vehicles. Other methods described and illustrated are not acceptable.

1. To receive the right vehicle, all Volkswagen and Audi vehicle identification number (VIN) are located on the dashboard visible through the driver’s side lower windshield. 17 digit V.I.N. number – for example – 3VWRT71K17M838290
2. Staff must clean clothing is free of objects that can cause damage to the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Gloves are not worn in the vehicle. Jewelry, if worn and belt buckles must be covered by security devices. Smoking in vehicles is strictly prohibited.
3. Engines may not idle for long periods prior to and during loading and unloading, particularly full body coverage units, and must be completed, while in transit.

4. Prior to loading, each vehicle must be checked to ensure that optional and separately sent items such as radio, CD player, antenna, spare tires, wheels are concerned, navigation disc, external keys, etc., are included with the vehicle.
5. Ramp break over angles and points must meet the requirements of the product that front spoiler or chassis damage. During loading and unloading, vehicles should not be subject to interference from base ramps, skids, or tie-down assemblies.
6. Tie-down straps, chains and hooks should be provided to prevent any contact with the roof of the vehicle during loading bottom position units. Chains should be removed from deck runways to prevent any damage or base band interference.

7. Automatic transmission vehicles must be set in park, manual transmission cars in first gear after vehicles have been placed. Parking brakes must be firmly set before leaving the vehicle.
8. When loading vehicles in final position, the key must be removed from the ignition, and left on the chain or door in the left pocket. Lock all vehicles are required if the transport remains unattended.
9. Drivers should never enter or exit a vehicle through the windows or tail gates. Moreover, the seat and the floor protection is in place for entering vehicles.
