Volvo Trucks PDF Service Manual Guide

The descriptions and service procedures in this manual are based on the design and method studies in September 1991. The products are under continuous development. Vehicles and parts after the date may have different specifications and repair methods. When it is considered to have a significant impact on this guide, additional service bulletins will be issued to cover the changes.

The new edition of this manual will update the changes. Volvo preventive maintenance consists of:
• Driver’s service – every day, while refueling
• Basic service – every 3 months
• Annual service – every 12 months This service manual covers the items contained in the initial and annual services. The items marked with gray, similar to the checklist, a description of the basic service. All items apply for annual service.

By changing the oil, it is important that as much oil as possible is drained and changed. Let the oil immediately after driving because it is warm and easily drain. Oil filters should be replaced with an oil change. Warning! Hot oil can cause burns, use of protective gloves. Always check the oil after refilling.
