New C70

The electrical system, design
Network
The network at the C70 is based on the same principle as the S40/V50:
• CAN-HS (High Speed), 500 kbps
• CAN-LS (low speed), 125 kbps
• Most (Media Oriented System Transport), audio system from 24.8 Mbps
• LIN (Local Interconnect Network), 9.6 kbps serial communication
To avoid electrical interference in the CAN network is terminating resistors that bridge over the CAN CAN HS and LS. One on each end on both the high and low speed network. Each termination resistor has a resistance of 120 ?.
SA for the CAN termination resistors are located on the steering wheel module (SWM) and the engine control module (ECM). For the LS CAN termination resistors are located in the module driver information (DIM) and the query module retention system (SRS).
Both terminating resistors to create a parallel circuit. If the network can then resistance is completed on each side of the net is approx. 60 ?.
