Inspect the fluid level every 15,000 miles. In severe operating conditions, ATF and filter change every 15,000 miles or 24 months. LIQUID LEVEL CONTROL Transmission Check with the vehicle on the surface of liquid level and in the normal operating temperature. With the engine idling, each gear change “p” to “L” and back to “P”. Liquid level should be in the range marked in bright red dipstick. DO NOT overfill.
NOTE: If the vehicle has been exploited in heavy traffic, pulling a trailer or at high speeds in hot weather, wait 30 minutes before checking the fluid level. Differential Remove the filler cap. Fluid should be level with the bottom edge of fill hole plug. If the liquid is level of openness, filler plug installation. If fluid is low, fill until the liquid is level with fill opening plug. DRAINAGE AND CHARGING Transmission 1) Remove the engine cover if necessary. Remove the drain plug and drain fluid. If the transmission filter replace, remove oil. Transmission oil pan completely clean. Install new filter and bread together. CAUTION: When removing the transmission filter, consider different lengths of screws assembly reference size 2) Replace Pan drain plug and refill the transmission with ATF fluid approximate amount. CHARGING OF TRANSMISSION CAPACITY See table. Start the engine and shift through all gears. Change in “P” and check the fluid level. Add liquid as needed.
