Toyota Celica 1988 Cluth PDF Manual

Clutch is a single dry disc type, which uses a hydraulic clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder mounted housing. The Land Cruiser, slave cylinder is adjustable. In all others, slave cylinder is not adjustable. Liquidation is automatically compensated by the interior design of the cylinder.

PEDAL HEIGHT & FREE PLAY
Rotate pedal stop screw on the top of the pedals to adjust the pedal height. To adjust free play, loosen the lock nut on the push rod master cylinder and turn the push rod inside or outside the specified free play. See specifications table clutch pedal. Tighten the lock nut.

Land Cruiser
Fork clutch free play is away from the slave cylinder moves the push rod clutch before moving fork. To adjust free play, loosen the lock nut on the slave cylinder. Turn the push rod tip while holding the nut with a wrench in the push rod. The free play should be .16 -. 20 “(4.0-5.0 mm). Tighten the lock nut and again.
