This manual will, in detail, give the information you will need to convert a 4×4 1996-1999 Nissan Pathfinder from an automatic transmission to a manual transmission. Having a manual transmission in your Pathfinder gives you more control, lower gears, and more power than you would have with an automatic.
Remove the upper grilles. Each upper grille is held in place by 8 tabs. Using a playing card and a flat-head screwdriver, carefully pry the chrome molding away from the bumper in each of the 8 locations shown in Fig. 1 The Pontiac G6 inner grille is held in place by 4 tabs (1 on each side). Using the screwdriver and playing card, carefully pry these free from the bumper.
