SA-S-750 (GSXR-600 and GSXR-750) Early SA-S-1300 (GSX1300 R) The GSXR has a ball bearing behind each cam wheel. Press the original crown, but leave out the influence. You will notice that a line has been stamped at the end of each camshaft at the factory. One line adapter 6mm threaded holes with the line and press the adapter.

Caution: be sure to press the adapter on the right track (with the larger of the two steps out). Make sure you’re pressing the right-angle adapter to the camera. Clicking on an adapter, the camshaft support safely and squarely on the flange behind the ball bearing. Do not stand the camera on the end and the press. Failure to do this will result in damage to the camera and adapter. You may want to slightly G.T.A.W. welding of a point or two to secure the adapter to the camera. This will ensure that any future movement.

Check for clearance problems before starting the engine! When installing the gears, the pinion of admission is installed with the # 2 located at 1800 marking the factory line stamped on the camshaft. The exhaust sprocket is installed with the # 1 dial directly in line with the factory line stamped on the camshaft.

Cam Sprocket # SA-S-752 for late model 2000 + GSXR-600, 750, and 1000 You have to push off the old gear and press on the new sprocket adapter provided. Note that a line has been stamped at the end of each camshaft at the factory. Take a look at the end of the cam sprocket and the time stamps before clicking off the old sprocket. Make yourself a sketch of reference if we have a factory repair manual. You may also want to check the location of the stock cam with a wheel – degree. You will need your camera level to the new configuration after installing the adjustable sprockets.
