Peugeot Engines Technical PDF Manual Guide

Technical information of various Peugeot engines, diesel and gasoline engines, covering a variety of information from materials used by engines, configurations and layouts, types of injection, engine performance and environmental performance.

Contents:
* HDi (diesel) engines: The three HDi engines available, a 1.6 liter and 2.0 liter 4-cylinder and a 2.7-liter V6 engine twinturbo are equipped with the latest generation of Common Rail high-pressure injection system.

* 1.6-liter HDi diesel engine (DV6 TED4 – FAP): This four-cylinder completely aluminum engine is a development DV4 (1.4 liters), where the displacement (1.6 liters) is obtained by a simultaneous increase in stroke (6.3 mm) and diameter (1.3 mm) . It has a sixteen valve head with dual general camshafts, roller cam followers and hydraulic coil. Supercharger is supplied by a variable geometry turbo and the engine is equipped with a second generation Bosch injection system common rail with a substantial reduction of fuel consumption and hence emissions.

* 2.0 liter HDi Diesel Engine (DW10 BTED4 – FAP): With a capacity of 1997 cm3 (bore 85 mm, stroke 88 mm), this engine features a turbocharger with variable geometry Garrett with a vacuum controlled valve equipped with a front-mounted air / air exchanger. It develops a maximum power of 100 kW at 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 320 Nm at 2,000 rpm. The couple may reach 340 Nm at 2,000 rpm thanks to the “Overboost” function, which comes into play with the engine at full load, between 1750 and 3200 rpm. This temporary increase in torque is available in all six gears with a 6-speed manual and, in the final with three-speed transmission 4-speed automatic box.

* 2.7-liter V6 HDi Diesel (DT17 TED4 – FAP): This new 60deg V6 engine with a capacity of 2721 cm3 develops a power of 150 kW and a torque of 440 Nm Its advanced design allows it to meet the Euro IV and its new maintenance-free FAP particulate filter reduces emissions particles at a level barely measurable.
