DASH DisAssembly:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent accidental short circuits.
2. Using Metra 86-5618, remove the head unit and disconnect the factory wiring panels.
KIT Assembly:
1. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using their own or mating adapter Metra AXXESS. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery and test the unit for proper operation.
2. Connect two double brackets on the double DIN DIN ISO floating head or wear the head unit using the screws provided with the radio. (Fig. A)

Step 1 – Unpack QuickLIFT kit and verify contents. Remove all items from the packing tube. You should have the following before beginning:
* (2) Gas Springs
* (4) 3/16″ Steel Rivets
* (4) 5/16″ head sheet metal screws
* (2) Fender Steel brackets
* (2) Hood Steel brackets (smaller)
* Printed Instructions
* Gas Spring locking clips – these are installed in the gas springs – remove before assembly . DO NOT LOSE THEM , they are very small and are easily lost if dropped. Read more...

Below is the procedure, which you must follow in order to program new keys. We give an example for programming 2 keys: 1. Press the button “Program Keys”. 2. Insert the first valid key into the ignition and turn the ignition On for at least 3 seconds but no longer than 15 seconds.
Turn the ignition Off and remove the first key. 3. Insert the second valid key and switch the ignition On within 15 seconds. After ten seconds a chime will sound and the Theft Alarm Light will begin to flash. Read more...
