When driving a card coverage area (MCA) in another, no map information is displayed on the screen when the vehicle is driven past the boundary mapping in the new area. Only the position of the vehicle appears on the screen. The gray screen that indicates you are outside the MCA are the mapping CD. Replace the current map CDwith new CDthat card contains the information for the new area where you drive.
Map information is then displayed on the screen for the new area. This system is primarily designed to help you reach your destination, and also performs other functions described in this manual. However, you, the driver must use the system safely and correctly. Information on road conditions, traffic and availability of services may not always up-to-date. The system is no substitute for a safe, proper and legal riding. Map data includes major metropolitan areas in the United States.
Map data consists card CD-ROM MCA1 to MCA9. For information on the map CD-ROMs, contact a Nissan dealer. Map data includes 2 types of areas: “Detailed coverage areas where all details of the road and other areas showing main roads only. Route calculation can not be done on the border of the map coverage area and other areas.
