Kia Motors Forte LPI Commercial Hybrid Electric Vehicle
Kia Motors presents its first commercial hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), the Forte Liquid Petroleum Injection (LPI) hybrid in Seoul, Korea. The Forte LPI Hybrid is the latest addition to the generally accepted Kia Forte family (also known as “all-new Cerato” in some markets), both gasoline-powered 4-door sedan and sport KOUP versions.

Kia Motors is investing 240 billion won (approximately USD 180 million) over a period of 25 months, the development of eco-friendly hybrid Forte LPI. With powerful driving force and a higher fuel efficiency rating of 17.8 km / l, the LPI Hybrid Forte answers consumer demand for environmentally friendly vehicles which are exciting and fun to drive.
Moreover, with CO2 emissions of just 99 g / km, Forte LPI Hybrid qualifies for the settlement as a Super Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV).
