Kia Forte 2009 Sedan Car in Korea Market
Kia Motors launched its new car Kia Forte 2009 in Korea market on 2 January 2009, which has high fuel-efficiency rating of 15.2km/l. The new sedan replaces the existing Spectra (Cerato), the Kia model sold in the U.S., and will be offered as a coupe. Gate model also offers this car, but has been ruled out for the North American market.

Forte is expected to sell in the middle of next year in other markets, and will be followed by the new coupe several months later. It comes initially with two petrol engines compact, a 1.6L four-cylinder unit with 124hp (92kW) and a more powerful 2.0L unit to be announced later. A 128hp (95kW) 1.6L turbodiesel is also available in some markets. In addition, a turbocharged model in advance by the Koup concept could also make an appearance.
Within the Forte shows improved interior design aesthetic that really took off with the C’eed and what appear to be more premium materials, including plastics and soft touch upholstery leather. While Forte certainly not breaking any new ground in the interior design shows that Kia’s intention to move their vehicles to the ranks and changing perceptions about its quality. Features include high-end satellite navigation, voice recognition, active head restraints and stability control of the vehicle.
Kia has invested more than $ 200 million and 29 months developing the new car, and is predicting worldwide sales exceeding 250,000 units per year.
