This installation guide should be used in conjunction with an authorized Honda / Acura factory service manual and the installation must be performed by a trained technician.

1. Remove timing belt carefully securities according to instructions in the factory manual. Turn crankshaft position at TDC and remove the stock gear and camshaft keys. Remove completely stock when Guard gear dust behind the gearbox (not reinstall).
2. Install new OEM key factory in which the camshafts. Slide the timing gear drive, in line with the keys on the camshaft, completely wells, install and tighten the screws on the pulley machine to help until the end of the shaft, to factory specifications. View Claw Assembly.
3. Race Calendar pulley drive gear on the timing gear and align the center mark key on the disk so timing gear with the zero mark on the timing gear pulley. Fas-ten arts of the pulley on the gear disc 12 -1 / 4 SHCS and washers (six in each timing gear). The SHCS pair uniformly. See Figure 1.0

4. Align marks TDC between exhaust and intake timing gear and ensure the “UP” arrow is going up. See Figure 1.0
5. Install the timing belt tightly in the sequence shown in Figure 2.0. (1)-point belt drive pulley (crankshaft) to (2) – Adjustment of the pulley (3) – water pump pulley (4) – Pulley intake camshaft (5) – Pulley exhaust camshaft.
6. Loosen and tighten the screw for adjusting the belt tension. Rotate the crankshaft 3 to 5 turns counterclockwise so that positions of the belt pulleys.
7. Check the crankshaft pulley and camshaft pulleys are at TDC position (See Figures 1.0 and 3.0)

8. If a camshaft pulley is not positioned at TDC, remove the timing belt and adjust the positoning. TDC postioning Ensure camshaft and the crankshaft pulley and reinstall the timing belt. Adjust timing belt tension according to factory specifications.
Par 9.0 SHCS subjecting the timing gear pulley disk timing gear evenly. (SHCS it must be tightened to ensure non-slip operation)
10.0 Start vehicle at the time the stock adjustment mode (zero adjustment) to ensure the smooth operation of the vehicle. To adjust the power curve, be sure to reference the vehicle at any setting. Loosen SHCS and make adjustments SHCS-Re-pair. Test vehicle adjustments different brand service at an appropriate time of test vehicles.
