Honda All-New Insight Concept Car at NAIAS 2009 Detroit
Honda unveiled its world premiere concept car “Any new Insight” at the 2009 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. Combines elements of an elegant exterior design of the original Insight highly aerodynamic side profile with front-end design reminiscent of a tent hydrogen FCX Clarity environmental vehicle.

The 5-passenger Insight offers a spacious feeling occupying environment, with some measurements comparable to larger vehicles. An adaptable cargo area and 60/40 split folding seats provide enhanced utility.
A 1.3-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine and a 10-kilowatt electric motor, are the foundation of the Integrated Motor Assistance (IMA) hybrid system. The electric motor, in line between the engine and continuously variable transmission, adds power during acceleration and cruising in some situations, rescues and pulse energy of the vehicle during braking.

The Insight has a new system of ecological unit assistance to help achieve excellent real-world drivers of fuel. Helping is an economic driver, select the fuel efficiency function. It also provides recommendations style driving through a fund within the 3D velocity changes color to reflect the efficiency with the driver is accelerating and braking.
