Ford Powerstroke 6.0L 2003-2007 Airaid Intake System PDF Manual Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cables. Unlatch all clips from four factories in the factory airbox. Remove the factory air filter separating the input and output sections of the assembly. The filter is held in place by two rubber grommets on the bottom. (Note: Make sure eyelets in the bottom remain factory air support box.)

Disconnect the connector wide electronic filter restriction indicator and remove the restriction, and rubber washer. (Note: keep these pieces for later use.) Remove filter air intake tube and hose assembly. Be careful when removing these items, as is a tight fit. Be careful not to break the isolation of the factory the full support of the radiator. Stop and look! If you have a temperature sensor like this, go to step # 8. The production in early 2005 F-250 and F-350 6.0 diesel truck came with a temperature sensor, or wine with an air flow sensor mass. These images will help determine what sensor it has. Whatever the sensor has, Airaid intake system will fit.

IF YOU HAVE A SENSOR MASS AIRFLOW AS IS, A.) Unplug the electrical connector, and remove the two screws supplied with the T-20 bits of security, and remove the sensor. (Keep the sensor for later use.) B) With a 5 / 16 “takes to loosen the hose clamp on the end of the tube. Assembly plant to completely air filter tube. (Note: Do not remove the flexible hose inlet turbo turbo housing). A.) If the temperature sensor shown in step 5, install the washer supplied as shown above. B.) Install the air temperature sensor from the factory, as shown, then the factory washer and filter restriction indicator. Go to step # 10. A.) If the sensor is shown in step # 6, install the gasket and sensor 2 (black) 8 / 32 “x 5 / 8″ screws. B.) Install the washer plant and filter restriction indicator.

Slide the Airaid filter tube flexible factory turbo inlet hose. (Note: Do not tighten the hose clamp until the Assembly is complete.) Reconnect the sensor to the factory outlet. (Or the temperature sensor or mass air sensor, every time you have.)
