READ ALL DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE BEGINNING MOUNTING LOCATION: The enclosure mounts in trunk of Mustang Coupe on passenger side. TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION:
Powered Screwdriver
Wire Cutters
1/2” Wrench
Terminal Crimpers
INSTALLATION: Follow the steps below
1. Place enclosure in trunk of vehicle, with woofer firing to the rear of the vehicle on passenger side (do not mount yet).

2. If externally amplified make speaker connections to the enclosure from your amplifier; loosen terminal knobs (a 13-mm nut driver can be used). Connect speaker wires from amplifier to enclosure, positive to red terminal knob and negative to black terminal knob. Refer to Step 20 for mounting directions. Routing Power Wire; we recommend a connection directly to the battery.
3. Remove driver door threshold, pull up firmly but slowly. The trim will remove easily.

4. Route 10ga red power wire from furnished wiring harness starting at pre-amp location. Route wire under rear seat on driver’s side, over to threshold and under carpet and kick panel to the front of vehicle.
5. Open hood.
6. Locate the factory grommet on the fire wall on the driver’s side just left of the brake master cylinder. It will be a black grommet about two inches in diameter. This pulls out very easily. Cut a small “X” in the center of the grommet to accept 10ga power wire

7. If grommet is not present drill a hole through the fire wall. Locate a spot low on the fire wall. You should always look to find a clear path. Drill a hole from inside of the vehicle into engine compartment and insert grommet. Note: To avoid any damage to parts inside engine compartment, drill from inside of vehicle using a short bit.
8. Route 10ga red power wire through grommet into the engine compartment.
