Check to ensure you have all the components in the installation pack:
4 – M6 threaded inserts4
1 – 4mm allen key
1 – 9mm dowel (brad point) bit
1 – 5mm T handle allen key
1 – 3mm drill bit
1 – Paper template (for Skid Plates only)
1 – Roll masking tape. You will need a power drill.

READ INSTRUCTIONS FIRST FULLY- before starting After having read the instructions, practice threading an insert into a piece of hard timber, it is better not to practice on your beautiful 360. Elevate your car on stands or hoist. Locate exact centre of bumper bar under car. Mark with masking tape and pen/pencil (Tip: screw holding under-body panel is centre) Using spoiler approximate where the fastening points will be. Tape masking tape at approximate fastening positions. Masking tape will allow you to mark holes accurately and will stop drill from slipping on fibreglass bumper. Using spoiler as template (or full size Paper template) and a sharp pencil or pen, mark the exact location of the holes on masking tape. (Spoiler should align in exact centre with trailing edge to ridge in bumper where under-body panel fits to bumper, see picture)

Using power drill and 3mm drill bit, drill pilot hole in the exact centre of each marked hole. Ensure that the drill is held perpendicular i.e. 90º to surface at each point on the bumper. (Note: The bumper bar at this point is approximately 15mm thick) Using power drill and 9mm dowel (brad point) bit, drill out all 4 holes, again using care to keep drill at 90º. Drill carefully, most bumper bars will have had repeated repairs at these points. Using self threading 6mm threaded insert with the 5mm T handle allen key, slowly thread insert into hole until insert is flush with the bumper. Turning the insert backwards and forwards can assist in cutting the thread. Ensure final threads are very tight. If insert is loose, use Araldite or similar on final threads and allow to set.

When securing spoiler and skid plates to bumper with CS allen screws and 4mm allen key, do not over-tighten, a firm hand-tight will secure them. CONGRATULATIONS ON A SUCCESFUL INSTALLATION. IMPORTANT: If you feel uncertain about your ability to carry out the installation yourself, DO NOT risk damaging your car or the product. Your mechanic can do the job in about 1 hour. Provide him with the instructions and all the components, as most of these are not readily available. Good luck and enjoy your new look Ferrari F360.
