If excessive resistance is in each circuit ground, clean, tighten, repair or ground circuits or connections to the ground before any component to be replaced. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Remove the two screws that secure the receiver on the dashboard. Pull the radio receiver from the dash far enough to the instrument panel wire harness connectors and the antenna coaxial cable connector.

Remove the speed switch on the same side of the steering wheel, like the radio remote switch is operated. Refer to Speed Control switch is in the removal and installation of 8H Group – Speed Control System for the procedures.
