The AEM Brute Force Intake System is the result of extensive development on a wide range of cars. It is the most advanced short pipe air intake system on the market. The tube length and diameter adapted to each specific engine power to give a wide speed range. Each intake is covered with a high-gloss, heat reducing Zirconia based powder. This special blend of powder coating reduces heat penetration, which in turn lowers the temperature of the intake air charge. The cooler temperature of the air inlet translates to more power during the combustion process because cool air is denser than warm air.

The air mass flow to the engine is increased because the increased airflow and lower temperature at the inlet, which translates into more power. Stroke a) Make sure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface. Set parking brake. b) Disconnect the negative battery terminal of both batteries.
c) If the engine has run in the last two hours, let it cool.

Removal of the stock intake system.
a) Before one of the O.E. components, label each individual part, so that no components are mixed during the installation process.
b) Pull the wire harness from the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. Remove the two screws retaining the MAF sensor with the supplied tamper proof Torx tool. Carefully remove the MAF sensor.
