Chevy 2WD and 4WD Body Lift PDF Installation Manual


This body lift kit should be installed on the vehicle in good condition. Before installing it should be thoroughly checked the vehicle for signs of corrosion or deformation of sheet metal around the factory body of horse. This body lift kit should not be installed on any vehicle which is suspected to have been in an accident or abuse.

Off-road use of your vehicle with this body lift installed may increase the voltage applied to the factory body of horse. We do not recommend that all vehicles with body lift is installed to be involved in any extreme off-road maneuvers such as jumping. Failure to comply with this warning may result in serious injury and / or serious damage to your car.

1st Read the instructions and before you start. Check for correct kit contents (see list of components and figure charts). 2nd Park the vehicle on a clean, dry, flat (level) surface. Block tires so vehicle can not roll in both directions. Automatic transmissions should be placed in the park. Manual transmissions should be placed in neutral. 3rd Remove both battery cables. Remember to remove the negative cable, then positive cable.
4th Remove the front bumper.

Check for any wires that may be attached to the bumper and disconnect if necessary. Make diagram to ensure proper reconnection if it is to reinstall the front bumper. 5th Drain radiator into a clean container. Be sure that the vehicle is so cool, the cooling system must be safely opened. Coolant will be repeated after the cancellation of the operation completed. Remove clamp which mounts the upper radiator hose to the radiator. Remove the hose from the cooler. Remove the clamps, which connects the lower radiator hose to the radiator.

Remove the lower hose from the cooler. If the vehicle is equipped with automatic transmission, disconnect the 2 transmission cooling lines from radiator. Cap the end of the line to prevent fluid loss during transmission installation is complete. Remove the screws that connect the top cover to the radiator core support. Remove the radiator and fan shroud from the vehicle.
