Chevrolet Trailblazer 2002 And Envoy CGS Air Intake PDF Installation Instructions

These instructions will walk you through the installation of new air intake system for your car. We always recommend that you keep the stock intake air system for storage in case you may need later. Package includes: air filter air intake tube, clamp, (2) 3 “hose clamps connecting the red hose and rubber GROMMET. Tools required: Phillips head screwdriver and 5 / 16 “nut driver.

1) Removing the stock air intake system Remove the 3 screws holding the air box with a Phillips head screwdriver (Fig.1, 2, 3). NOTE: You will need one of these screws later in the installation. Remove the air box extender (Fig.4) and oxygen sensor (Fig.5). Loosen hose clamp and remove stock of all intake pipe and filter (Fig.6)

2) install new intake pipe Red stretch hose connection above throttle body contact and afix hose clamp over it (Fig.7). Fix GROMMET rubber intake pipe in (Fig.8). Place other red hose clamp for hose connection and installation of new air intake (Fig.9). Put the oxygen sensor in the intake tube of rubber GROMMET.

3) Place the air filter Loosen the hose clamp at the base of the air filter and slide the end of the intake pipe (fig.10). Do not tighten down the hose clamp yet. Slide the curved end of the console between the hose and filter bracket base (fig.11). Through the hole at the other end of the bracket with a hole in the original box was secured from the air. Use one of the original bolts to ensure their new console.
