Chevrolet Silverado 2007 2WD and 4WD Superlift PDF Installation Manual
Pre-requisite installation:
• Before beginning the installation, check all parts and hardware in the box with the parts list below. If you pack an error, contact Superlift directly. Not contact the dealer where the system was originally purchased. You have the control number from each box when calling this number is located on the underside of the part number label and the right of the barcode.
• 2007 1/2-ton GM vehicles are equipped with the StabiliTrak traction control system, generally known as ESC said. Premature engagement system and a corresponding light on the dashboard can be encountered after installing this or any other lift system. ESC function is affected by tire size and a multitude of other factors. It will be necessary for the vehicle to the nearest GM dealer and have the system reprogrammed or re-flashed “with a diameter of the tape in the system of GM’s closest to the actual diameter of the tires mounted on the vehicle. Be aware, but that the vehicle can still show premature engagement system, even after it is re-programmed under certain driving conditions.
• Note that the ESC system will be affected if the wheel is not centered and that the system can be disabled by pressing the traction control button in the center console of the dashboard, refer to the manual for more information about what systems influenced by impressions the traction control button. Superlift is working on a reassessment ESC system, check the website for the latest information.
• This system will accommodate the factory wheels and tires larger than stock factory spare / wheel.
• Rear lift is sold separately and contains its own instructions. Consult these instructions before beginning the installation.
• A special tool is required to disassemble / assemble the front struts. Other special tools are recommended for loose / attach the Pitman / idler studs. Consult the factory service manual.
• Front-end adjustment is required.
• An arrow on diagrams indicates which direction is towards the front of the vehicle.
Installation requires a professional mechanic. Before beginning, inspect the vehicles steering, driveline, and braking systems, with much attention to the suspension link arms and buses, coaches and anti-sway bars, tie rod ends, Pitman arm, ball joints and wheel bearings. Also check the steering sector-to-frame and all suspension-to-frame connected points for stress cracks.
Total vehicle in excellent condition, repair or replace all worn parts. Read the instructions several times before. Make sure you know where all the parts and installing them. Read each step completely as you go.
