Installation instructions
1. Figure 2 shows the cable clamp which holds the brake line inside the frame rail. Relax, this group of upper frame and move to the line broke down about 1 / 2 “so as not to interfere with members safely cross.
2. From underneath the passenger side of the vehicle, remove or cut sections of the heat shield, which is located between the frame rails and the bed of the vehicle.

3. From the driver’s side wheel well, Notch or bending of sheet metal flange, as shown in Figure 3. (Optional: The vehicle bed may be removed to insert the cross members safely from loosening the bolts that attach to the bed frame).
4. Drag safely cross the half way members or sharp bends in the flange plate and place 5 / 8 carriage bolts from the 9461/9463 long-snap kit slots from underneath the vehicle. Slide members successfully cross over both the vehicle frame rails and align safely cross members as shown in Figure 4.

5. Place 1 / 4 X 1,00 X 3,00 X 1/2-13 blocks and 2,75 Hex bolts through slots in the driver’s side and passenger side of the vehicle frame outward.
6. Install the hitch frame brackets by aligning the holes in the rear brackets with locks installed in the installation step 5. Free install 5/8-11 x 1,50 Hex bolts, lock washers and flat washers through the slot in the hitch frame brackets and threaded ends of the blocks safely cross members (see Figure 5).
7. Install the clamp bracket frame by placing the brace on the inner side of the frame rail, place the 1/2-13 x 4,50 GR5 carriage bolts through the square holes in the bracket through the frame bracket with threaded end directed outwards. Install lock washers and hex nuts.

8. When installing the 9461/9463 Hide-A-goose hitch, 4 “hole must be drilled in the bed of the truck. Mark and drill a 1 / 4″ hole 44-3/4 inches (short box) / 49-1/2 inches (long box) at the rear of the bed and centered between the wheel wells. Refer to Hide 9461/9463-A-gaska safely instruction sheet. 4-inch drill hole in the bed of a truck with “4 hole saw using 1 / 4″ hole as a pilot.
9. Place the trim ring from 9461/9463-A-gaska Hide kit in 4 “opening.
10. Free install 9461/9463 Hide-A-goose hitch. Refer to the instruction sheet for 9461/9463.

11. After installing the full 9461/9463 Hide-A-Goose Kit 4431mounting safely and carefully align the hitch ball sleeve with 4 “opening and trim ring in the truck bed. Torque all fasteners 5/8-11 GR5 parentheses to 150 ft.-lb. (203 N-m) and 1/2-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 ft.-lb. (102 N-m). Use the following sequence: a) torque frame brackets to the frame of the vehicle b) members of torque cross frame in parentheses) of torque Hide-A-goose hitch pass members.
12. If the flange plate is notched or bent in the installation step 4, use paint to prevent corrosion of the flange plate. If the vehicle bed is lifted to insert a cross member, tighten the bolts that attach to the bed frame.
