The second generation Forester recently launched by Subaru is ready to build on popularity of the old model by offering a complete set of improvements. Mechanical changes include the installation of a larger displacement (2.0 to 2.5 liters L) for more Performance chassis and suspension complete changes (on the wheel and tire update specifications) for better treatment and handling and increased braking capacity. Subaru says it has achieved significant increased rigidity of the new Forester improving resilience to shocks, which NVH (Noise, vibration and harshness levels) and contribute to improved handling and agility. Praiseworthy (Seen the increased structural strength), new Forester is an average five kilograms lighter over the entire range, with some models up to 25 kg less.
Throttle Body Removal
1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2) Remove the air cleaner case. <Ref. to IN(H4SO)-5, REMOVAL, Air Cleaner Case.>
3) Disconnect the accelerator cable (A).
4) Disconnect the cruise control cable (B). (With cruise control model)
5) Disconnect the connectors from the idle air control solenoid valve, throttle position sensor and manifold absolute pressure sensor.
6) Disconnect the air by-pass hose from throttle body. (1.6 L model)
7) Disconnect the engine coolant hoses (A) from throttle body.
Remove the bolts (B) which install the throttle body to intake manifold.
The 2.2L engine designation is the sixth digit of the vehicle identification number (VIN). It is important to always first identify the engine before beginning diagnosis and servicing. Body type and transmission type, as well as the model year, are also information pertinent to engine diagnosis and servicing. BEFORE INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT:
• Make sure to follow all the vehicle specific instructions carefully or damage to the product can result.

• Make sure to follow the vacuum hose connections carefully or serious damage to your engine could result.
• Make sure that you remove the two orange caps and one red cap from the solenoid manifold before installing.

• BEFORE INSTALLING read entire manual and verify that the kit contains all the parts necessary for installation. See the TBC-1 Parts List table in the back of this manual for the list of materials provided in this kit. Disconnect the Negative cable of the battery BEFORE proceeding with installation. Failure to do so may result in severe damage to the unit or the engine.WORLD electronics is NOT responsible for any damages to the

This document shows a set of photographs I install 1999 Subaru Power Steering Rack in my 1973 Datsun 240Z. The car has been converted to 1995 LT1 with transmission WC T5 and I had the original pump from the donor car (Caprice 9C1), so I did.
