Take a look at the suction gauge to see if there is any pressure on the suction line. If there is pressure and the application is not a flooded suction the suction line is pressurized. Carefully remove the drain plug from the basket strainer to release the compressed air. Turn the four ball valves connected to the pressure gauges (suction & discharge gauges) to closed position.

Running without cruise control, the highway consumption was 14-15 km/litre, but when the cruise control was turned on, Azman could feel the accelerator being automatically depressed further from his foot, and the extra pedal travel brought the highway consumption back to the original 12-13 km/litre. This shows that with a Surbo, the driver will press less on the accelerator and this will contribute to a more relaxing drive, and of course more economy.

Some pickup model frame rails have a bracket that is used to support the frame during the manufacturing process If this bracket is on your frame rail and obstructs the proper positioning of the AirDog mounting bracket, you may remove part or all of it, as needed. The Problem Several OE Chrysler fuel pump modules feature a paper strainer/filter element. An Airtex design change to this element results in a fuel pump that looks significantly different from the original fuel pump.
The Solution The Airtex pump features a dual-zone strainer/filtration design to provide better trapping of fuel system contaminates. In order to improve filtration of fuel entering the fuel pump, Airtex uses a media-material fuel pump filter/strainer. To better filter fuel going to the fuel injectors, the Airtex pump relocates the paper filter into the regulator assembly.
