GM Daewoo will begin sales of the new Winstorm SUV driven by a gasoline engine on February 2, 2009. With his quiet but powerful engine, the newest family member Winstorm offers abundant comfort and safety. The Winstorm DOHC 2.4-liter engine produces uniformly long career max torque at low and high speeds.

The engine is paired with an efficient five-speed automatic transmission as standard. Among the comfort and safety features that come standard are rear parking sensors, a roof, an MP3 player and CD player, airbags for driver and passenger, ABS, EBD (Electronic Brake force distribution, and antilock brake system). It also has a very spacious interior. In addition to a standard five seats, a seven-seat model is also available. This is the first SUV from gasoline sold in Korea.
