The GM2L-POD/S allows you to operate your iPod (Mini, G3, G4, G5) using the OEM satellite radio controls of your LAN BUS or ClassII Satellite-ready GM Group radio. Using this interface, the iPod will emulate the factory XM Satellite system, providing you with one of the most interactive OEM iPod “INTERFACES” in the industry.
Please follow the safety instructions and apply the handbrake. Switch on the ignition. Do not start the engine! Press and hold the two outside buttons I + III – releasing only when the diode begins to flash after approximately 20 seconds. This procedure erases the factory-set default codes and does not have to be followed to program additional remote controls. Press the appropriate HomeLink button I, II or III which you want to program and keep holding it until the diode starts flashing slowly. You will now have 5 minutes to copy the signal from your remote control onto the HomeLink transmitter unit.
Before You Start
For the initial setup of the Honda Teradyne GNA600, the latest version of HDS software must be installed on the host PC. We strongly recommend using the USB PC Interface Cable (TDS35525406) as your wired connection to the GNA600. The correct device drivers for the USB PC Interface Cable are included with the HDS software. If an Ethernet cable is used for your wired connection, you will need to do extra steps. NOTE – Setup of the GNA600 connection is fully automatic if you have the correct drivers from the HDS software installed, use the USB PC Interface Cable, and carefully follow the set up instructions. If you use an Ethernet cable, you must do a manual setup of the GNA600 connection (see section 5.4).
DiCE – Diagnostic Communication Equipment, is a tool that is used together with VIDA All-in-one to communicate with the vehicle. Communication makes diagnosing and troubleshooting the vehicle possible, as well as the downloading of software. DiCE uses Bluetooth to transfer information wirelessly between the vehicle and VIDA All-in-one. This gives the mechanics more flexibility. An USB cable can be used as an alternative to Bluetooth. DiCE has an integrated CARB cable, which is connected to the vehicle’s diagnostic socket. When connecting to the vehicle, DiCE is powered as long as the battery is charged. DiCE has a folding hook that is designed for hanging the unit from one of the grab handles in the
vehicle for example. When DiCE hangs visibly, Bluetooth reception is optimized and it is also visible to the mechanic.
A. General Floor Mat Warnings
• Only install floor mats designed specifically for that model and model year. Check for correct model name and part number on the packaging label to confirm vehicle application.
o Never install a floor mat if you are uncertain of the model application.
o Never install the floor mat upside down or turned over for any reason.
o Only install the driver’s floor mat in the driver’s foot area.
• Always properly secure the driver’s floor mat using the retaining hooks (clips) supplied in the bag with the floor mats (in the case of Lexus with the carpet floor mats). Follow the floor mat retention clip installation instruction supplied with the clips. If the mat is properly secured and you have confirmed vehicle applicability, it will not interfere with the accelerator pedal.
o Never install the front driver’s floor mat without all retaining hooks (clips) securing the mat firmly in place.
• The retaining hooks (clips) are designed to accommodate only one floor mat at a time.
o Do not install another floor mat(s) on top of an existing driver’s floor mat.
• After installation, always check the operation of the accelerator, brake and clutch (if applicable) pedals to assure the floor mat does not interfere with them.
• Carefully read the warning tag attached to the driver’s floor mat regarding installation.
