Your vehicle may have a manual passenger seat. To adjust the seat, lift the bar under the front of the seat to unlock it. Slide the seat to where you want it and release the bar. Try to move the seat back and forth with your body to be sure the seat is locked in place. If your vehicle is equipped with power front seats, the controls are located on the outboard sides of the front seat cushions.
1. Pull the top edge of the main glass as far forward as practical. It may make a clicking sound as it moves – this is normal. (See Figure 1a) Using a flashlight, locate the vertical rectangular slot on the vehicle side of the main glass opening. It will be alongside a hex-head screw and another rectangular slot – horizontal. (See Figure 1b)
Before you begin -Read instructions completely before starting each step. -Pay attention to how parts are removed from the cadillac and make sure to keep track of all parts, in many cases they may be used in the installation.
Most Vehicles (**Except Tracker, Saturn ION, Cadillac CTS and Pontiac Vibe**) If a vehicle has an automatic transmission with a floor shift and it has no electrical power, the electrical solenoid lock must be overridden to shift from Park (P) to Neutral (N). For the majority of GM vehicles, use the following steps.
1. Push the base of the leather shift lever boot forward with your thumb.
2. Lift the boot and find the white solenoid lever.
3. Move the white lever toward the driver’s side to unlock it.
4. While holding the white solenoid lever in the unlock position, press the shift lever button and shift into Neutral (N).
5. Release the solenoid lever and snap the boot back into place.
OTC Tire Pressure Monitor Kit is designed to complete the overall series, which covers vehicles Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPM). The software contains a vehicle entry system easy and accurate to use the correct interface to the vehicle.
