Camaro & Firebird LS6 1998-2000 Intake Manifold EGR Adapter PDF Installation Manual

Temporaily installing the adapter into your LS6 intake manifold. You will remove the adapter from the intake so make sure you are not working, so you can not get him back on. You just have to be far enough so you can scribe the intake of the area to be removed for the EGR tube. Once the adapter, scribe the outline of the hole at the bottom of the adapter.

Now remove the adapter from the intake. You can bolt the adapter to help pull the adapter as it is difficult to remove. Now remove the material within the circle that you wrote down in the intake. Do not remove too much material, because the adapter must seal against the sides and bottom

This adapter allows you to install a 2001-2004 LS6 intake manifold on 1998-2000 LS1 Camaro and Firebird and still full of EGR functionality. This allows you the ability of the profits LS6 manifold while able to pass emissions testing and not to have custom calibration work.
