BMW X6 Active Hybrid Sedan Car

BMW will exhibit for the first time in the public crossover hybrid, the BMW X6 active hybrid. The vehicle is claimed 20% more efficient than regular versions. Using a 4.4 liter V8 engine (400hp) electric motor combined two power producing 91hp and 86hp. The combination of the two resources that culminate in torsi point 480hp and 575lb-ft.

With such power, BMW X6 AcitveHybrid has speed from silent to 100km/hour in a matter 5.4 second and can reach top speeds 210km/hour (electronically limited). CO2 emissions 231g/km only with the battery pack’s capacity Nimh 2.4kWh. This is the same type of battery such as Prius. Equipped with a self-cooling system to maintain optimum temperature of the battery so that it can still maintain peforma top every time.

Battery re-charge in energy through regeneration, the system is also used many other hybrid cars are used. Interesting that this is the car’s two-mode active transmission with two electric units, three planetary gearset and four multi-plate clutch. In this way, the car can use only one electric motor when operating at low speeds and also is active only when a new driver needs more power.

BMW X6 Active Hybrid can operate with only the electric motor only as Prius-to-speed 60km/hour. This model uses 20 inch alloy wheel, light weight braking system, electronic power steering system and auto start-stop system and suspense enhanced.
