The stock steering repositioning 1 “(25mm) closer to the rider from their highest adjusted position. No height adjustments are possible with the HR-adapter as the longest bar maintains position. Heli Bars are designed to safely increase your riding comfort, but it is imperative that these instructions be followed for proper installation.

Failure to follow these instructions may lead to incorrect installation and monitoring of a hazardous situation. NOTE: It would be beneficial for multiple digital photos taken as reference. Removing the stock bar component and the installation of the Tour Performance HR adapter torque bits, drive and a 6mm hex key or a 13mm socket to remove safety nuts.
1) Place a soft towel or clean cloth over a large store the fuel tank, remove the plastic cover on the back of the wheel casting that covers hardware adjustments. (See photo 1).
2) Remove the two 13mm hex nuts safety (see photo 2). None of the stock hardware except the two washers will be reused.
3) Remove the two wires loom clamps itself to the outside of the bar in the master cylinder castings. This is extra slack in the control housing wire looms to facilitate the installation of the HR adapters. (Photo 3).

4) Loosen the two screws above the ignition switch that allows adjustability of the stock bars and remove washers. The bars are heavy so ready to lay them gently down on the fuel tank. Note that you will simulate various setting controls. Order from the fuel side will be: 1 tee nut, 1 flat omega strap, 1 side of each spring, and the front of the safety coupling head screws and washers. The washers will be reused, but not the screws. See picture 2 component for clarity.

5) Place the Tour Performance HR adapter lower square bosses with the single threaded holes in the lower steering assembly plant. The Tour Performance logo is visible and can be seen from the front of the machine. The adapter will only fit one way. Use two of the supplied M8 socket head screws and two washers previously removed factory and shall follow the original design. Disconnect the two M8 screws to 12ft lbs. (See photo 4)
