Attention Assist Safety Car
The Volvo S80 is a new safety feature that I have never seen before, but I’m guessing that is probably necessary. Attention Assist is an interesting feature that can detect if the driver is nod, which is the cause of many accidents. The Mercedes-Benz S500 as the new E-Class of this model have Attention Assist safety function, which uses the seventy signal that the car that the driver is drifting into slumberland.

Of course, I have no idea why’s and necessary, because I believe that the only possible indicator is on the steering wheel. In reality, how can you tell when a machine is nodding off? Maybe have a “power nod” detector that I do not know what. If you are not familiar with the “power nod” just think of college, back when that boring professor put to sleep, but you tried to quit on their own. The end result has been to class in the back shouting “whiplash”!
If the machine does not detect the drowsiness, the indicator light will go out. Curiously, the image of a cup of coffee on the dashboard appears. What is this, a sort of signal that you need caffeine? If so, I’d rather have a mountain dew can there in place of cup of coffee. I’m not a big coffee guy Achiever.
Now, if the car has a GPS, which could give directions to the driver of the next coffee shop. For me, there would be some compass points to the nearest mountain dew machine.
