Argos™ for Mercedes-Benz is a fully integrated Bluetooth® solution for many late model Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Featuring support for standard head units as well as the MB Command system. This simple solution functions similar to a Mercedes-Benz factory telephone system except that it is based on Bluetooth® wireless technology that will allow you to choose from many phones and carriers.

Your kit will include the Argos™ module, an owners manual/installation guide, and all necessary cabling (including Fiber Optic if required) based on
your vehicle and equipment. Compatible with Bluetooth 1.2 Spec – Class 2. Range approx 30ft/10m. Supported profiles: Handsfree, Headset, Object Exchange Bluetooth® is a wireless technology that allows computers, phones, and other devices (cars included) to talk to each
other over short distances (up to about 30ft). Bluetooth® uses radio waves and is designed to be a secure way of connecting two devices without wires. One of the key benefits to using Bluetooth® wireless technology is that you can use virtually ANY compatible phone and you can swap out your phone anytime you like and not have to change anything in the car. You are no longer tied to a Mercedes-Benz branded phone that is already out-dated.

This single box has only two connectors – one for the Fiber Optic connector and one for a standard 25pin plug. Once you have found these connectors in your vehicle (usually behind the trunk liner on the left hand side) all you will need to do is plug the unit in and secure it! Rest
assured that your product will come with installation information specific to your vehicle. Once installed, your vehicle will recognize Argos™ as a telephone unit and you will have access to it immediately. No trip to the dealer for configuration or coding is required in most cases.
