Prior to installation, visually inspect the ATS Sub Zero Intercooler for cracks, holes or damage. All intercoolers are carefully pressure tested, inspected and packaged but damage can occur during shipping. If intercooler arrives damaged, please contact ATS customer service. Visually inspect the interior of the inlet and outlet tanks for debris. ATS Sub Zero Intercoolers are packaged to prevent anything from entering the tanks during shipping but ATS suggests double checking prior to installation.

If debris of any kind is present, position the intercooler so the inlet and outlet tubes are vertical. Shake the intercooler and lightly tap on the end tanks with a rubber mallet to dislodge trapped debris. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

We recommend Weldless DD and Double Splined universal joints for the best steering system. Weldless DD universal joint features two set screws for maximum holding power. Position yoke, tighten set screws to mark the shaft. Remove yoke and drill the set point on the shaft. When installing the universal joint, set screws are tightened into the countersink mark, then tighten the jam nut and the shaft will not move. We recommend the use of Loctite.

Stealth Install:
Use the cruise control paddle from the 89+ supra as a built in paddle shifter. Stock cruise control operation is retained when the Suprastick is in the “Fully Automatic” mode. Use the stock ECT PWR button to switch between manual and automatic modes of the Suprastick.

The white Manual / Auto selector lead may be wired to the #2 in the wiring diagram and use the ECT switch next to the gear shifter for mode selection, or any 12 volt switch and source. The cruise control paddle wire is located under the driver’s side dash. It is the pink / green wire in the wire loom coming from the steering wheel and connecting to the cruise control ECU. It will shift voltages when the paddle is pressed up or down, and be constant 12 volts when the paddle is not touched.

• Observe all safety notes and precautions described in the Honda Acura Service Manual in addition to these described in this Installation Instruction. • After installing the steering wheel, you must align the steering wheel spoke angle to the straight- ahead position by adjusting the front toe.

1.Make sure you have the anti-theft codes for the radio and navigation system (if equipped), then write down the radio presets.
2.Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, and wait for at least 3 minutes before installing the steering wheel.
3.From underneath the driver’s airbag, pry up on the four retaining tabs, and remove the access panel.
4.Remove the horn ground terminal and the airbag connectors from the holder on the cord guide. Unplug the horn ground terminals.

2.Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3.Using scissors, cut out the appropriate template as shown.
If the vehicle is equipped with map light, continue with step 4; otherwise, go to step 5.
4.Align the template to the headliner and tape it in place with masking tape. Go to step 6.
5.Measure 145 mm from the front edge of the headliner and align the template to the headliner as shown. Tape the template to the headliner with
masking tape.
