KEY FEATURES
The PA12-TOY interface connects the iPod or iPod mini directly to Toyota audio system. Its on-board software translates commands from either your Toyota CD Changer controls into commands that the iPod understands. This interface enables the iPod to take place of a Toyota external CD Changer and provides the following benefits:
1. Direct connection of the iPod to Toyota vehicle audio system for optimum sound quality
2. Control iPod playback with CD Changer buttons on car radio or steering wheel controls
3. Direct access and control of up to 5 favorite playlist (in playlist mode)
4. Charge the iPod internal battery — and charging stops automatically at one hour after iPod is paused. iPod will enter SLEEP mode after charging.
5. Auxiliary audio input (connect additional audio devices and listed to them on the factory system)
6. Display of artist name and song title available to radios with a “TEXT” button. Track search by artist, song title, and album is NOT supported.

Engine runs rough or will not run: Check the ignition wires or coil packs for proper connection to the spark plugs. Check the ignition wires or coil packs for proper connection to cylinders.
There is a loud hissing noise: One or more spark plugs have been improperly tightened – re-check. One or more spark plugs may have double washers – re-check. Spark plug may have been cross-threaded – re-install. If noise persists or if the threads in the engine head are tripped, DO NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE – have it towed to your Toyota
Dealer Service Department for diagnosis and repair.
RECHECK COOLANT LEVEL – Shut the engine off, allow it to cool and check the coolant level. Coolant level should also be checked at the coolant reservoir (as per Owner’s Manual). Fill the radiator as required. Refer to the Owner’s Manual for exact fill level specifications.
NOTE:If vehicle overheats after thermostat installation, check
with dealer for advanced diagnosis.

Overview The security module harness will interface with the existing ignition switch connector, horn, parking lights, power doorlock & door trigger connections, and a ground termination.
Vehicle Preparation Remove driver’s side lower dash panels, located directly under the steering column and left kick panel. A. Pull down lower dash & remove. B. Remove (2) screws from black under dash panel & remove. C. Remove left kick panel and sill plate by gently pulling them off. Module Preparation Place fuses into the control module. A. Observe fuse amperage ratings. Place the 5 Amp fuse into the “Main B+” location. Place the 15 Amp fuse into the negative “PK LIGHTS” location.
Read All Directions Carefully Before Beginning Mounting Location: The enclosure mounts firing to the center of the vehicle behind the factory spare tire of 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, except optional aluminum spare that was most predominant in 1996-1997 model years. TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION: Wire Cutters Phillips Head Screwdriver Terminal Crimpers 7/16 Nut Driver INSTALLATION: Follow the steps below 1. Remove the spare tire. Unzip the cover. Remove wing nut and washer holding spare tire. Place enclosure in location occupied by spare tire.
There may be some miscellaneous hardware or items left over after completing this installation. Please use only the items and quantities shown in the parts list above. Make Sure Antenna Seal And Tape Pad Are Fully Engaged To The Roof. Use Supplied Clips To Provide Strain Relief (4”-8”From Connection Points). Vehicles Equipped With Cd Changer:Follow Steps 21-31.
